Service Description

What each Iris plan includes — and what it does not.

Version 1.0Effective 2026-01-01Iris Studio

This document describes exactly what Iris Studio delivers on each subscription tier. It is referenced by the Terms of Service and applies to every active subscription.

1. Overview

Iris provides a Website-as-a-Service: we design, build, host and maintain a website for the customer for a recurring monthly or annual fee, plus a one-time setup fee.

The scope of work below is fixed per plan. Anything outside the listed scope is treated as additional work and quoted separately.

2. Starter plan

  • Text edits by the customer through a simple editor
  • One yearly visual health check with recommendations
  • One booking or payment integration of the customer's choice (OnceHub, Stripe or Zoom)
  • A simple bookkeeping overview inside the customer dashboard

  • Advanced lead tracking and reporting

5. Not included on any plan

The following items are always outside the subscription and are quoted separately or provided by the customer:

  • Custom photography, videography, illustration or original copywriting beyond light editorial help
  • Third-party licence costs (fonts, stock images, premium plugins, external SaaS subscriptions)
  • Advertising spend (Google Ads, Meta Ads, etc.)
  • Migration of large existing content archives (>50 pages) — quoted per project
  • Bespoke back-office systems, custom CRMs or booking flows beyond the supported integrations
  • Legal, tax or compliance advice
  • Manual data entry, translation or ongoing content production

6. Change requests

Small text and image edits are done by the customer through the editor. Larger structural work — new pages, new sections, new integrations, restructures — is treated as a change request.

Pro includes 1 hour of change work per month. Additional hours, and all change work on Starter and Business, are billed at the current hourly rate stated in the customer dashboard.

Change requests are scoped in writing before work starts and delivered within the SLA response windows.

7. Ownership of content

The customer owns all content they provide (text, images, brand assets) at all times.

Iris retains ownership of the underlying code and design templates. The customer receives a perpetual, non-exclusive licence to use the delivered website for as long as the subscription is active. On termination, the customer keeps all content; a buy-out of the design as a static export can be offered as a one-time cost.
